Our system maintenance service consists of cleaning the inside of your computer(s) and optimising the operating system. We recommend that you perform a maintenance on your system every 6 - 9 months.
We first focus on removing dust and particles that could potentially damage the components inside your computer(s). This includes your CD/DVD drive(s), a floppy drive (if present), the cooling fan(s) on your processor(s) and the power supply. We will verify that all the components in your computer(s) are secure and that any cabling in firmly connected.
Secondly we investigate the computer once it has booted up into it's respective operating system. We will defragment your hard drive(s), check for malware (including viruses) and anything which may be causing (or potentially cause) your computer(s) to slow down or freeze. We will attempt to increase the performance of your computer(s) using our experience in optimisation techniques.
Whilst performing system maintenance, we can also upgrade most components of your computer(s) or install Microsoft Windows 7.
Please note that - under no circumstances - can we be liable for data loss when we perform system maintenance. We strongly recommend that you back up your data on a separate medium (e.g. DVD, on-line or an external hard drive) on a regular basis.
