Improval of an existing site
The majority of businesses own a web site but - with the advent of new technology and opportunities - are looking for an affordable way of adding additional features to encourage repeat visitors (e.g. discussion forums) or a means of allowing a customers to pay for goods or services (e.g. PayPal, Google Checkout) on-line. It is also important to consider that sometimes a web site can become stale and additional or alternate content can add a breath of fresh air. Visitors appreciate new material and many businesses choose to introduce a CMS (Content Management System) to allow them to add new content independantly.
Re-organisation of contents
In addition to the improval of an existing site in the way of features, a transfer of static text to a database can prove beneficial to any web site. It allows the creation of interactivity between the site and the visitor and the customisation of their experience. The most common example of a database-driven web site is the option to create an account. If a visitor is granted limited control over their use of a site, it increases the chance that they will visit it again in the future. How much will this service cost?
Our web development prices start from £250 for a static five page web site and £500 for a dynamic (database driven) web site.
Improval, re-organisation, translation and migration of a web site requires an audit prior to any work being commenced and an estimate will be prepared. There is a 12 month minimum contract for web site maintenance/management services. All web development contracts are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
